I could rabbit on about picking up a 35mm film camera at the age of 14 and how I’ve been a part of the photography industry for 20+ years and specialise in portraits… blah blah blah
All you want to hear is whether I’m the right fit for you.
Will I be able to capture the essence of you, your family, your kids, or even your business? I’m not going to give you my resume. But simply ask you one question… Are you passionate about having beautiful and memorable portraits of your family that you’d run back into a burning house for? Obviously you wouldn’t do that because it’s totally not safe, but you get where I’m going.
If you’ve answered yes, then it’s highly likely we are pretty much on the same page.
So let's make a cuppa and have a chat.
Classroom environments don't always work for everyone. Typically because students will all be at different levels of knowledge. I am very much a practise to learn type person, I need to feel it and see it. So rather than watching a power point display and using your arm as a headrest, I invite you to a customised One on One lesson with me. I will use your own camera and step through exactly what YOU want to learn. Whether that is how to shoot on manual or how to pose a subject in pretty light, or even how to use your Smartphone to create images for your business.
A generous hour and a half to get you started on your photography journey for as little as $150. Gift Vouchers welcome.
I've had the pleasure of working alongside large & small businesses Australia-wide to create their own brand and marketing images for websites, social media accounts and publications.
My volunteer role with the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers included teaching a Mentorship Program & being a part of the core organising committee for the Annual Nikon AIPP Event for 5 years, my job entailed looking after over 100 Guest Speakers and liaising with National Sponsors.
I love nothing more than documenting kids in their element of play, allowing them to move freely and with a little guidance from parents.
I have always gravitated towards photographing women, perhaps its my extensive wedding background and the love of nurturing a woman to feel feminine and beautiful in her own skin.
After 25 years of photographing weddings for couples in love, I am hanging up the camera strap. But IF you are planning on a very small and intimate elopement, I could be swayed.
I own both my Grandfathers’ and Mothers’ cameras from when they started photography.
I spent most weekends mustering on horseback with my Dad and sisters as a kid.
My closest friends say my best quality is my honesty.
I am left-handed and 51% right brainer.
I don't swim in any body of water that I can't see the bottom, especially the ocean.
My favourite saying: 'The best things in life aren't THINGS.'
My next favourite saying: 'Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication darling.'

I asked Bambi to take photos in a rush and only gave her a few days notice and she did everything in her power to make it work for us. The photos are absolutely stunning and she made us (who are not comfortable in front of a camera at all) feel as if we were right at home! Couldn't recommend her enough for everything she has done!
Bambi is an absolute delight when you have photos taken. She can make everyone laugh and feel comfortable. Every photo is such a wonderful memory.
Bambi, you have done it again! Three beautiful albums - our wedding and two beautiful children. You are part of our family now and we will be forever grateful that the important moments of our lives have been documented by you! A thousand times, thank you!
We loved Bambi's work at our wedding and best of all, her superpowers of photography spill over into her passionate and caring personality. Absolute pleasure to work with and cannot recommend this Wonder Woman enough. Bambi is officially our go to family photographer.
Thanks Bambi, we love you and your amazing works of art.
